Gabriela takes advantage of her experience in Personal Data Protection, Intellectual Property and Health Regulatory matters to advise multinational and national companies of the Health sector, such as manufacturing of medical devices, pharmaceutical products, food industry, among others.
As part of her professional activities, Gabriela has been a member of the Technical Commissions of the Ministry of Health and has been part of the work teams that draft the regulations related to the importation of biomedical equipment, Regulation of Reagents for Scientific Research, Regulation of Techno-vigilance, regulatory reform for procedures with stem cells, among others.
She is currently part of the Health, Industry and Commerce Liaison Commission and of the Regulatory Improvement Commission of the local Private Sector umbrella “UCCAEP”. Gabriela Arroyo is also a member of the Technical Commission formed by the Ministry of Justice for the reform of the Regulation of the Law on Protection of Personal Data Processing, and she has been invited to participate in the Legal Support Commission of the governing body, PRODHAB.
She regularly participates as a speaker and moderator in various forums related to the Health Sector and Personal Data Protection.
Gabriela has been recognized from 2015 to date by Chambers Latin America (Chambers & Partners) among the professionals who stand out in the Intellectual Property practice.
She is a specialist in Personal Data Protection and has a Master's Degree in the Personal Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2021 UNED-AEPD Madrid Spain and is currently an APEP’s Data Protection Delegate. Graduated in Law and as a Notary Public of the “Escuela Libre de Derecho” since 2001.
